Pedalboard

My pedalboard is not actually all that elaborate, but it looks like it. I have the Wah, Compressor, Tube Screamer, and Flanger (not shown) feeding the input on my amp. I have the Ground Control to access patches on my Rocktron Intellifex. The last piece is the footswitch for my Nomad amp.
- Dunlop Cry Baby wah - for all the usual stuff...disco, funky stuff, weird effects, and occasional solo accents.
- Boss CS-3 Compressor - I generally pop this on for clean stuff, especially funky stuff, where I want the pick attack to be steadier than it might otherwise be. I also generally use compression with soloing with a clean sound, or in conjunction with the Tube Screamer on the clean channel for a Steview Ray Vaughn tone.
- Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer - mostly I use this for solos when using the clean channel of my amp. It has a very nice bluesy tone, especially in combination with the compressor. Occasionally I use this with my second channel to add some gain for solos, as well.
- Ibanez BF-3 Flanger (new addition-not shown) - for random effects, not using it too much yet.
- Digital Music Corp. Ground Controller - a necessity for accessing the many patches I use on my effects rack. One nice feature of this board is that it's powered via the midi cable (which actually came from an old ADA unit), so there's no extra cable or power brick.
- Mesa Boogie Nomad 55 footswitch - the most used part of the pedalboard, as I do alot of switching between clear, dirty rhythms, and blistering leads. This switch allows channel selection, plus on/off for reverb, and activates a solo boost on the amp for leads.
When not relying on my standard pedalboard/rack effects--usually when I need to be able to get on and off the stage quickly--I use this terrific pedalboard-The Vox Tonelabs SE. Amazing tube tone and amazing collection of effects.
